I found these pretty pillows and seat cushion at HomeGoods. They really make my porch swing comfortable for summer evenings on the porch.

2. All of your pillows and the swing cushion are pretty; unfortunately, the accent pillows do not coordinate with cushion. A rule of thumb is to keep the value (brightness) of all your colors the same. Take your cushion with you when picking out your accents. Also, you would stay away from pink….doesn’t coordinate with your cushion. Just a little design lesson for next time.

3. Sorry Melissa, but they dont have to ‘match’ to work, i think they do coordinate- green & pink look great together! Mary- it looks super cute and fun!

4. I love the mixing of colors and agree they don’t need to match. This is just a casual summertime shabby chic look. I added a pink throw and placemats to my sunporch because one of the great designers on HGTV said all porches need a touch of pink. Enjoy it.

5. Sorry Melisa, I totally agree with kate. I think all the pillows look very good together. They all coordinate. And who wants a boring porch swing? Looks wonderful , my dear.

8. I agree with Melisa, actually. The green and white seat cushion is way too bright and outgoing for those subtle looking pillows and the pink one just stands out too much. Pick a couple colors and stick with those.

9. without the pink pillow…it would be boring

10. oh…old standard rule of thumb…no more than 3 colors in a room…that is not really followed today…but…without the pink…the scheme would be very subtle, nice yes…but terribly predictable and one would tire of it.

11. I don’t think the color is the problem I think the shape of the pink pillow is what’s trowing the whole thing off. I like the colors just change the pink pillow to the same shape as the other ones. Enjoy it. If you like it that is what counts.

13. Mary – I would love to sit and swing with you on this sweet, comfortable, lovely summer swing. Use whatever colors you want, and that make you happy. It’s your swing and your home. Enjoy!!
