Life changes cause ones mind to whirl in many directions. Makes you want to just escape for awhile. When this mood hits creativity is the outlook that brings me the most peace.

So with a pillow sham from the new guest bedroom ensemble, I took off to find fabric for a boudoir chair which was in my room as a child. I ‘m sure you have all have had the experience of going on a mission well prepared and finding nothing in return.

Freezing cold, needing calm and quiet I went to the one place that brings me warmth and peace, Home Goods. Now here I can get lost in the many isles of ohs and ahs never looking for one specific item.

Through the doors and into spring, Easter and gardening essentials, had to remind myself I have more then enough to pack but, I should did spend alot of time admiring. Moving up and down the isles, there it was the treasure I couldn’t live without. May not look like much to many, the one of a kind Waverly valance was just the compliment to the comforter and shams. Purchased it and went right back to the fabric store. Buying the solid material to which a will use this fabric to sew a decorative pillow, botton covers for the cushions and trim for the dust ruffle of the chair.

Peace at last! Thank you Home Goods, you had just what I didn’t know I needed. Stay turned for the finished product.
