This lovely pot was another HomeGoods find.  I wanted something for the patio for the spring and summer and to be able to take it inside when it begins to get cold.  I fell in love with it and decided that I didn’t want to leave it in the store. I love the design and one of the best things about it, it holds moisture for a long time and the plant doesn’t have to be watered as frequently. I love great finds and this is one of them.   ¼/p>

2. This is a beautiful container, Betty. What shape is it? I can’t quite see in the photograph if it is round or oval … it’s very graceful.

3. Hi Kathi,

Thank you so much for your response and your interest. This is a oval shaped container. I fell in love with the design and the style. What proved to be even more important is that you don’t have to water the plants that it holds, as frequently as the other plants in the home. I agree, it is a graceful pot. HomeGoods has so many unusual and “graceful” containers that become conversation pieces. Why don’t you go to our favorite store and check them out. Then, share with us what you purchase. We will be happy to see what you find.

5. I am shopping for artifical trees and can’t seem to find the category at Home Goods. Would you give me an idea how to find them?

by vera — 4/30/09 at 10:42 am #

6. Hi Vera,

Thank you for commenting on Openhouse, our HomeGoods blog.

We understand that you have been trying to locate artificial trees. As an off-price retailer, we make every effort to keep our prices low, and our costs down, so that we can pass these savings on to our customers. For this reason, we do not provide a service of tracking merchandise. In addition, we do not have the privilege of ordering specific merchandise from our vendors. To locate the trees, we suggest that you continue to check with the stores in your area directly. To find a store near you, simply go to the “Find A HomeGoods” icon on the home page of our web site. Or, if you would like a store list, please e-mail us back, or call our Customer Service Department directly at 1-800-888-0776, and we’d be happy to assist you.

Sincerely,

Jessica
