One of the things I am learning about decorating, since I have started blogging, is the importance of taking pictures. When I took the first pictures of my bedroom after adding the new bedding, I noticed the need for a pop of color with my lampshades. I’ve realized that just like I pick out the things I would like to change on a portrait, I notice the little things in a picture that I might walk by everyday and not see. Now, maybe a couple of pillows, if I can find exactly what I am looking for . . . oooh I do love the hunt, and then I will consider this room finished. At least for now!
1. Love the room. Looks fresh and inviting. Accent color is nice, just enough.

2. Great advice! I do the same thing with home sellers… I tell them to take a picture of the rooms in their home and view them as a potential buyer…
it is surprising the things you notice!
This room is beautiful I would not change a thing!!!

5. Wow Deb, that room looks beautiful. I just repainted our bedroom and and got a new bedspread, all in neutral tones. Your ideas have motivated me! Looks like I’ll be shopping this weekend…just in time for Easter.
God bless,
Chris
