An inviting entry says alot about a home. I love to see flowers leading up a walkway, or a white (or black) picket fence with a squeeky gate. Some people have a porch swing, or wicker furniture, or an Adirondak chair on their porch. Maybe some hanging baskets of flowers and potted plants. They all say “Welcome To My Home”. The porch is the best place to read a book, sip a lemonade, wave to a neighbor, or take a quick nap. Whats inviting about YOUR entry?

1. Cathy, What an inviting entry! The brick work is beautiful as well. I also love the little pop of color here and there. Once again you have given me some welcome ideas.

4. Great comments, Julie, Suzanne and Deb. Porches are fun to decorate. They’re like little mini outside rooms. Tell me about yours.

5. Cathy,
Love your entry. Mine is cozy too! I have a wooden bench with a green striped cushion and green/white toile pillows. I also put in a medium sized fountain, a sweet mi casa es su casa sign and lots of flowers. My front door and screen door are painted a soft sage green that says “please come in!’. PS I love your style!

7. Here’s another crockpot recipe
Cranberry Citrus Pork Loin
2 lb pork loin
1 can cranberry sauce (16oz)
zest of 1 orange
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 c orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
combine oj and cranberry sauce
cook low 8 hrs, or hi 4 hrs.
(i;m not sure you really need the sugar..a kids snack size of applesauce may do also)

8. Hi Darci,
This sounds delicious! and not hard to do! I’ll give it a try and let you know. Thanks so much for a great recipe. Love anything from a crock pot! (and it makes the house smell so good all day.)
Thanks again.
