Looking for the right bedcovering can be a science. What color would be right? what price do you want to pay? What can you afford to pay? Where do you go to find what you are looking for? I tend to identify what I can’t afford as my choice and end up with second or third best. On this occasion while shopping with some friends whom I was assisting with decorating their home, I found this bedcovering with a bedskirt and shams. A light green, almost white. I was overjoyed as I made the purchase. Then for the throw pillows. I went next door to the sister store, Marshall’s, and found these pillows. I could not believe this find! It was absolutely what I had been searching for. What about your find?
1. I call that “shopper’s high!” Don’t you just love moments like that? It is beautiful, Betty!

3. The colors are beautiful but I agree with Sharon: a bit too busy. When I go into my bedroom, it’s to rest. Too many patterns are not restful to me.

4. Bette,
This is a beautiful room! From what I can see, it doesn’t look like all of the walls are papered. In the upscaled homes, the wallpaper is the fancy way of decorating. I love your color combinations and you are not afraid to do what you like. This looks lovely. I like to sleep in beauty. I would think that a room like this one woluld be easy to sleep in.
Your taste is consistent! First class!

5. Hi Carla,
Thank you so very much for your kind words! You are right, the walls are papered on two sides and the other sides are in the pale peach color that is in the wallpaper. The adjorning extension of this area with the vanity cabinets is covered with the identical pale peach as the painted walls, but in taffeta looking wall paper. The bedcovering picks up the pale white/green that is in the wallpaper. I was blessed to find it in HomeGoods and the matching throw pillows in the sister-store, Marshalls.
Yes, the room is extremely relaxing and comfortable. Thank you for acknowledging it.
