Visiting my nieces beautiful home is always a pleasure.  She decorates with the beauty of white better than anyone that I know.  You always feel comfortable when you enter because every aspect is done with love and joy.  The two chairs in her living room are from our favorite store, HomeGoods.  Many of the decorations are from HomeGoods.  The roll pillow on the couch is from the sister store, Marshalls.  She demonstrates how the essence of white can illuminate an environment.  What is your dominant color and what does it do for your home?

2. The decor is beautiful. I am in the process of decorating my condo and these pictures gave me a lot of great ideas. I really enjoy shopping at the Homegood Store. However, after viewing this blog, I look forward to my next shopping visit.

3. Hi Richelle,

The best part about shopping at HomeGoods is that you get first class quality, beauty and the price is far less expensive then other stores. Regardless of where you reside, you can always find the answer to your shopping needs at HomeGoods.

6. I don’t really have dominate colors. I love yellow, blue, and green. These colors represent me, I think. I am outgoing and I love the beach!
I have recently started to redecorate my entire house. The master bedroom is my version of yellow – Yellow Gold. It looks very luxurious and mostly decorated from HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, and World Market.
The living room is painted a very soft pastel green. I am having trouble arranging the furniture though. I will post a picture soon and maybe you all can give me ideas on how to arrange it.

7. Hi Gladys and Diane,

Gladys, my niece wouldn’t mind if you adopted her decorating style. As we all know, it is flattering to know that another person thinks that your style is worthy of imitation. Those chair covers and the white table clothes can be purchased from HomeGoods or the sister-store, Marshals for a minimal cost. When you get everything the way that you want, send us a picture and share with us.

Hi Diane,

You have identified comfortable ande lovely colors that represent you. The color for your bedroom in yellow gold sounds great! What are the other colors that highlight this room? Learn what makes you happy when you enter your home. Know the colors that give you that sense of peace. You indicate that the pieces in this room are from HomeGoods,TJ Maxx, and World Market. I would love to see the arrangement of this room as well.

The soft pastel green sounds very calming for the livingroom. Sometimes, before arranging furniture for your home, when you are faced with a problem about how you want to decorate, it’s best to get a pad and pen to take notes and clear out the room so that you can face the empty space. Began to identify your focal point and decorate around that. Identify the pieces that you have and that would be best for that room. Make a drawing of where the furniture that you already have would go in that room. Take measuresments of furniture and space. Replace the furniture that you had moved out of that room. There will be spaces that you do not have any idea of what you want to put there at the time. Don’t feel rushed to fill the space, because when you find that right piece, the space will be available and you will feel the beauty of it coming together. Look at magazines to get some ideas.

Ok! take a picture of your living room and share it. If you can get some basic ideas from what I have said, make some of the changes and share what you can with us. You might find that you have solved your arrangement problem yourself. Either way, we are here to help as much and as often as we can.
