…just had to share with you one of my favorite pieces of furniture…My parents started “housekeeping” with this little hutch 47 years ago….It was a lovely maple, but after years and years it had been retired to the garage. I asked my Mom for it about 7 or 8 years ago. I didn’t want to have the piece re-finished, so I painted it a wonderful color called “magnolia white”, I think it was a Martha Stewart color. After painting, I distressed the piece… I love the results.
I change it out with the seasons, and of course the china was a HomeGoods find!
A treasure is definitely in the “eye of the beholder” Thanks Mom!cupboard

2. Alli, You’re family hutch is beautiful as well as all the memories that go along with it. The plates look wonderful and well displayed. What a comfortable looking dining room.

3. Alli, this is not particularly pertaining to anything, but I was wondering if you could possibly tell me where you acquired the round glass table and chairs that are shown in the picture. I have been searching incessently for something similiar to this. I like the small size and wanted a round table. If you could tell me where it came from, sure would like to look into this. Thanks so much.

4. Ann,
Are you talking about the glass table in the post “summer centerpieces”?
if you are, I purchased that table from a consignment shop in my town…
the table was sol seperately from the chairs. I just put them together. You might try Ballard Designs. I think you can find their website using Google. I too, needed a smaller size, and when I came upon this one, I was delighted…..Good Luck!
