Some of the best buys I’ve found on lamps have been at HomeGoods. Its the first place I go to when a client needs quality lighting at a GREAT price. The lamps usually fall between $39.and $79. I’ve seen the exact same lamps online for 2-3 times as much. Theres a wide variety of styles from contemporary to traditional. It is really a great resource for lamps. Has anyone purchased lamps there? Were you not blown away?

Above, these are from a very famous manufacturer. (begins with the letter “L”)

LOVE IT Do you LOVE IT?

1. Cathy,
I want that coral lamp!!! I love it! You are so right, I can remember when I would pay as much as $350 dollars for one lamp….You felt as though you had to keep it forever. No more, with HomeGoods we can change as the “mood” hits us….. I am going to look for that lamp tomorrow!
thanks,
alli

4. Wish the two stores near to me were closer…over an hour to get to each one and that’s with good traffic.
But then I’d be tempted to buy all the great things I’ve seen on this blog….
Very nice things….

6. I love Homegoods and T. J. Maxx/Homegoods combo stores. I have found so many beautiful items for my home and clothing for me. I just love the “hunt”! I’m from the Midwest and I’ll be traveling to the Philadelphia area and the local suburbs in a few weeks. First thing I’m doing is locating all the Homegoods and T. J. Maxx stores I can get to! I hope I find something totally different that what’s here! Anyone have any suggestions on which store locations are the best?

by Pam — 7/5/07 at 3:02 pm #

7. Hello Pam,
I hope someone will write in from the Philly area and let you know which store they like. I seem to like them all. You can go back to the home page of HomeGoods and get locations of all the stores in the area. I’m glad you enjoy the combo stores. You can dress up yourself as well as your home all in one place! It doesn’t get better then that.

8. I have visited about ten Homegods store in the past week. I’m thinking of taking today off, but the selection is a bit different in each store, plus the clearance items, keep pulling me back!

Unfortunately, some of the items which I foolishly didn’t buy earlier this week are now gone. I’m waiting for the new shipments!

9. Wow Bill,
You sound like a real HomeGoods fan. (who isn’t). Yes, the merchandise is a bit different from store to store. Thats what makes it so much fun, to go to all the stores in your area and come away with different things. I love the clearance items too. (really good buys). Sorry you missed out on a few things. You have to “get ‘em when you see ‘em” or they’re gone. Thanks for writing in and Happy Shopping.
