The Cymbidium Orchid in the kitchen of my home sits on the floor and allows for the sun to capture it.  It’s 40 inches tall and in every way, it really looks like the real thing.  You have to touch it to determine that it is not.  In the pot that it sits in, the sides are filled with moss.  This enhances the the look of authenticity.   I purchased this from my favorite store, and the cost was so minimal, I was shocked.  They truly have a wide variety of beautiful faux plants that really enhance any room.  Every week you see a different and wider selection.  Get in there and see what you are going to buy and tell me about it.¼/p>

2. Hi Suzanne,

Thank you for your kind comments! This is such a lovely flower that it allows you to enjoy the gift of it as if it is real. It does look real and that contributes to the beauty.

3. I too love orchids. A neat trick my mom showed me was to put an artificial flower in a live orchid between flowering cycles, thus further the is it real or is it faux illusion?

4. Hi Jessica,

I like that!! It becomes so interesting. So many people still touch it to determine if it is real. They look at the moss around the top of the pot and check to see if they are missing something. I smile and say “No! It’s not real.” Now, I have it in a nice pot that has a wide mouth at the top and it allows for the moss to show, but it is a lovely ceramic pot in shades of brown.

Thanks for sharing. Let us hear from you again soon.

6. Hi Leah,

I got this Cymbidium Orchid from HomeGoods. I am certain that you can find this color and a variation that are very beautiful as well. Go to the floral section of the store and check them out. I’m sure that you will find what you are looking for. Good luck and let us know how you make out. You are right, these would make your daughter’s room look new and fresh.

Enjoy the season!
