Hi,
I’m thrilled to learn that there is a Home Goods Store in Va. Beach, Va, but it’s almost 50 miles away from us on the other side of the Penninsula. Hey, we have a very large community in the Hampton Roads area and would love a Home Goods Store on our side of the water, where you have Hampton, Newport News, Yorktown, Williamsburg for just a few of the cities. I am a T.J/ Maxx, Marshal and Stienmart Shopper please come to our side of the water. We are building a new house and I NEED YOU. When ever I go home to Boston to visit Family I make it a point to stop by one of your stores and droll over all the Furniture I could by if I lived there. Please, Please think about us…..Thanks, Vivian

Vivian….I feel your pain! I think every town in America should have a HomeGoods……It would be worth renting a van to carry your treasures back home! Think about it…..Everyone with a new home desperately needs HomeGoods!

I am fixing to move into a new home. It is a ranch style home and has a corner fireplace. My problem is finding something to put above the mantle. Most of the walls are an ivory color with enamel as the trim around the windows. I have white enamel blinds as the window treatment. My husband and I are both easy going people with nothing fancy. If anyone has a suggestion I would love to hear it.

Hi there,
Our lower level room is a family type-room with dark green carpet and upolstery furnture in a spice rum color. Our wood furniture is dark esspresso and cherry. Right now our walls are contractor antique white. Since it’s a lower level under ground it only has two well windows. Our taste is transitional comfort; I have some accessories with a wine theme. I don’t mind it being somewhat darkish becuase it’s mainly used for watching our large flat screen TV. My husband says a really light purple. I’m really not liking that idea… but I’m not positive on which direction of wall color to go… any suggestions?
