I love this! I didn’t even know it existed, until I found it at HomeGoods. Do you hate hard, out of the refrigerator butter? Do you hate the way it melts or spoils quickly if you leave it out? Do you use soft spreads even though you prefer butter, because of spreadablilty? This little crock holds one stick of butter. Simply place about one half inch of cool water in the base. Then turn the butter dish upside down and place it in the base so the water forms a seal. The butter stays soft, will not melt, and as you change the water every few days it will last like this for three weeks. I think this is a wonderful invention!

6. Please help me get one of those crocks. I will give someone my card number (I know I can trust you girls) or send a check to get one. I am in Traverse City area and don’t get down to Ann Arbor area to shop. I also saw a beverage decanter (glass with small brass spicket) that I just have to have as well. Anyone willing? Carol
