Sometimes when I am decorating an area, and I need two or more items (lamps, mirrors, plates, glassware, etc.) I like to think in terms of the items being like fraternal twins rather than identical twins. I like to keep the colors and themes close, but I think it adds lots of interest if they don’t match exactly. These two lamps are a good example of this idea. They would look great in a sunroom or family room on end tables.

7. I finally found a bird cage lamp in antique white at the Staten Island store. and Im just so thrilled. It looks beautiful, all my other lamps are full of color, they are tiffany type glass and this really stands out. I blogged on 5/22/07, it took me this long but well worth the wait, as I said I collect bird houses and bird cages.Almost all came from Home Good stores. Susan

8. Congratulations Susan,

That’s why we continue treasure hunting . . . it is a great thrill to finally find that item for which we have been searching. I am in KC this week helping my daughter move to a new townhome., There has been lots of treasure hunting going on, and I’m certain it will continue as we work to get her settled. It should give me lots of good posts for the weeks ahead. I am looking forward to seeing your post.
