Someone asked about additional ideas for inexpensive backsplashes……This is another example.
I work with a new home developer, so therefore our selections are pretty neutral in tone. This method works best for “spec” homes. You could easily use more color, for more “pop”…..
Hope this sparks your creative ideas!!!!

1. I actually like this neutral look- its very smart looking- you did a nice job–anyone could spice it up with accessories in your choice of colors–how about some gorgeous flowers in a pink or coral or lavender -I keep a small basket with pretty towels rolled up from Home Goods which has a huge selection of any color you could want- :-)

3. I’d like to know what color kitchen idea you would have if my kitchen has cherry laminite floors

4. Hi Maria,
With cherry flooring your possibilities are limitless……Are your cupboards cherry also? if they are how about a soft “buttery” yellow? I think the warmth of the yellow would really compliment the cherry finish.
let me know what you decide…..

6. I am in the process ofl looking for a new floor for my kitchen. I have light colored cabinets and the existing flooring is not level so I am sort of stuck with getting lineoleum. Could you tell me some of the best brands or types to look for?

7. Hi Ann,
There are many great choices out there….some of which you have to touch to see if it is ceramic tile or vinyl….
Congoleum makes a nice product called “Dura Ceramic Luxury Vinyl Tile.
Prices range from about 3 to 4 dollars a sq. ft. It is nice because it can be installed with or without grout, which makes instillation time cut in half.
I also like the S1000 series by Stainmaster….it has a great look!
Good luck with your project!
