I went into HomeGoods today and I was blown away by this beautiful and exciting display of some of the most gorgeous dinnerware that one could find anywhere.  I couldn’t resist.  I had to share with you what I was privileged to see.  As soon as the manager of this section puts the dinnerware on display, the customers grab it up for purchase.  She loves what she does and takes great pride in naming these wonderful dinnerware sets.  If you are interested in any of these beautiful sets,  go to HomeGoods as soon as possible and make that purchase.

Asian Flair:

Mexican Fiesta:

Italian Style:

I couldn’t resist!  I hope that you can’t resist either.

2. Hi Deb,

You’re right! These are beautiful dishes. I found them irresistable! Remember how fast merchandise sells in HomeGoods, so you need to get to our favorite store as soon as possible to make your purchase. Let us know which ones you choose!

3. Betty,
I absolutely love the Asian Flair dishes. Beautiful design and love the black and white color. The display is elegant also, as with the others. They have a really good visual merchanderiser.
Oh, wish I could throw a party!!

4. Hi Cathy,

The black and white fits in with your decor. You are right, the manager for this dinnerware merchadise section has a really artistic and beautiful flair for advertising and it’s obvious that she loves what she does. I couldn’t resist sharing this.

Thanks for your comments!

5. Hello Deb,

You are so right. The dishes are beautiful. In looking at your HOMEGOODS store it seems to be much larger than the one here. I don”t mind driving. I see that you are from Maryland. I am from Delaware. Can you tell me where your store is? Thanks

6. Hello Betty,

OOPS!!
The post was for you. I don’t know where I came up the name of DEB. Maybe I need another cup of coffee. The post was for you BETTY.

Thanks

7. Hi Esther,

Don’t feel badly about referring to me as Deb instead of Betty. Deb is this wonderful HG blogger from St. Louis. We all work together. We love HomeGoods and we enjoy communicating with persons like yourself. The store where these photos was taken is the Columbia, Maryland Store. They are fabulous people who love what they are doing and love making the customers happy.

All HomeGoods Stores are remarkable and all of the employees love the employer and what they do. Let us know how you make out and what you buy.

9. Hi Betty,

After looking at these dishes, I went to HomeGoods and brought the dishes under the Italian Style. Everyone is raving over them! I have to get a set of the Asian Flair for my niece’s wedding gift. Seeing these dishes helped me a lot. Even if the Asian design dishes are not there, I know that what ever I get from HomeGoods will be a hit. Thanks for helping me and other people out.

Thanks for your wonderful comments and keep checking back with us. We look foward to hearing from you

11. Hi Lori,

I hope that you were able to get the pumpkin tableware. They are so precious! This is the kind of addiction ( to pumpkin accessory items and tableware) that can prove to be exciting. Let us know if you were successful in getting the pumpkins from your New York store and take a picture and share your finds with us. We would be happy to see the pumpkins in your possession.

Keep in touch and let us know what happens.

13. Discovered HomeGoods on vacation at Hilton Head Island. LOVED THE STORE- they had the Orange Rooster pattern tableware. Loved it, bought multiple pieces. I was on vacation for 2 weeks and was at the store at least 5 times!! There was always something new. And the prices were fabulous!! How do they do it? Move a store into the Lancaster, PA area- PLEASE!!

by T williams — 7/30/07 at 2:31 pm #

14. Hi T Williams,

It is amazing how we have all fallen in love with HomeGoods! Once you get hooked, there is no place around that has comparable merchandise, with the value that you get and at minimal cost.

I am a hooked customer like you and I have no idea what the plans are for a store in Lancaster, PA, but you never know, there might be one on the horizon. Keep on telling the corporate office how badly you want a store in your area, making them aware that it would be worth their while to invest in your location. You never know, it just might happen.

Thanks for your wonderful comments! Keep in touch with us and let us know what happens. Keep shopping at HomeGoods! It’s a remarkable place to shop!!!!

by Betty — 7/30/07 at 6:48 pm #

15. Hi Kathy,

You are right! The orange rooster dinnerware pattern is quite beautiful! That is such a lovely pattern and it was off the shelves very quickly (sold). You indicate that you want two platters and canisters; however you might have to contact the stores in your area to find out if they have this pattern in stock. You never know, there might be a pattern that is comparable to that style coming soon. HomeGoods rarely gets duplicate patterns once the merchandise is sold, but there might be a pattern coming soon, because of the specialized Thanksgiving dinnerware that will be hitting the shelves soon. However, check the stores in your area and see if they have the rooster dinnerware pattern.

Good luck to you! Get back in touch with us and let us know if you were able to find it.

16. To: Betty
Each week I stop and shop at two HomeGoods Stores, Poughkeepsie and Kingston. I am looking for Gracie Bone China imported by Coastline Imports. I found a tea pot, creamer and sugar,4 tea cups, 4 mugs, 5 dessert plates and 4 rectangle shape trays and hope to continue to find more at the HomeGoods Store. The design is white roses with soft green leaves, the background is a pale almond/butter color. I would like to know which pieces were originally made and are any more available.. A BEAUTIFUL SET. Appreciate any help you can give me.Thank you. Elaine

17. We have a couple new malls in our town of Brighton, Mich., as we are growing like ever. Our new walking mall has Talbots, Coldwater Creek, Black and White, Penny’s and Christophers, and many more. We need a Homegoods Store in our town. We have a Marshalls at the other end, but a Homegoods Store would go over terrific. Please send a scout to check us out. Thanks. Most of my villa in Florida came from the Homegoods store there.

by Lori [...] — 8/9/07 at 7:52 pm #

18. Hi Elaine,

You to have the HG fever (smile). And, that’s a good thing! You indicated that you were looking for Gracie Bone China imported by Coastline Imports. That’s a beautiful design and I can understand why you would be trying to find the other pieces. However, HomeGoods has indicated that as an off-price retailer, they make every effort to keep the prices low and the costs down, so that these savings can be passed on to persons like you and me. As a result, they do not provide a service of tracking merchandise, nor do they have the priviledge of ordering specific merchandise from their vendors. HG suggests that you contact the stores in your area or in close proximity. If you call the Customer Service Department directly at 1-800-888-0776, they will be happy to provide you with the locations in your area.

Elaine, I truly hope that you can find the other dinnerware that you are looking for. That would be fabulous! Let us know how you make out. The very best to you. Thank you for your contact and may we hear from you soon.

by Betty — 8/10/07 at 11:18 am #

19. Hi Lori,
No announcements for a new store in the Brighton, MI area have been made as of this date. We suggest that you check in on our web site periodically as all new store openings will be listed there.
We appreciate your inquiry.
Thank you,

20. I have never been in to Homegoods, but I do frequent TJ Maxx and Marshalls. My post is actually more of a query. I bought some gorgeous Asian style dinnerware at Marshalls over the weekend, only to realize when I got home that I hand’t looked to see if it was dishwasher and microwave safe. After inspecting some of the pieces, I didn’t find anything that said dishwasher or microwave safe, so I’m assuming they’re not. In addition though, there is no other information on the dinnerware as to whether or not it’s safe for food. One would assume that since there’s an entire set of dinnerware made: dishes, platter, bowls, etc. they’re food safe, but you never know. I certainly don’t want to be using dishware that has lead or other toxic chemicals. Any advice about how I could find out if this dinnerware is food safe?

by Rebecca — 8/13/07 at 3:27 pm #

21. Hi Rebecca,
Thank you for your inquiry regarding the dishes.
These days most dinnerware is dishwasher and microwave safe, unless it is fine china or has a metallic rim (such as gold or platinum). In terms of being safe for food, generally any ceramic that is not meant for food has a sticker indicating “for decorative purposes only”.
I hope this helps. Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Jessica

22. Looking for the beautiful Italian dinnerware shown in Country Living Magazine, April 2007 issue. It has green salad bowl with a cabbage leaf look and green vine on blue background design. Dinner plate has wavy edge. Has anyone seen it? It is not at my closest store which is Savannah, Ga. Would appreciate hearing from you. Many thanks, Connie

24. To emacbrien: I think the pattern you are talking about is the Pink Rose.

25. Hi Phina,

Thank you so much for providing the information that Emacbrien was seeking. It means so much that you took the time to share information that you had. I am certain that it made Emabrien quite pleased that you cared enough to respond.

Again, thanks loads! Check back and share with us again.

26. The Orage Rooster Pattern is lovely. Found some on ebay, but no mugs! Good luck.

by Julia — 11/12/07 at 3:20 pm #

27. Hi Julia,

This is a great time for getting the mugs to match. Keep checking at HomeGoods. It is amazing that the time has come where those mugs will be in great demand. They are probably in the stores, now. Remember, they keep no inventory so there will no indication of where they might be found. Just keep checking back and you might just be lucky.

Thank you for sharing! Good luck oh finding the mugs. There are lovely!! Let us know how you make out.

28. Do you have an online catalog? my zip code is 83001 and do not have one of your stores near us within 100 miles. I am opening a new restaurant and are looking into italian dishware.

by Veronica [...] — 3/14/08 at 10:52 pm #

29. Hi Veronica,

Because each of our stores receives over 10,000 new items each week, it would be impossible for us to offer a catalog to our customers.

We appreciate your inquiry.

Sincerely,

Jessica

30. Betty,

I have been looking for the bold zebra striped (black and white) octagon plates trimmed in black that some of the Home Goods store carry. I saw the collectionn but when I went to look for the plates found that another customer had beat me to them. : (

I called some of the nearby Home good stores but to no avail. I even traveled over an hour to another store because the floor clerk (a young guy) told me that had two. When I got there, they were not plates but the relish trays. : (

I am currently located in Kentucky and would love to see if I can find the set. Can you help me on this one?
