…”she’s back”….sorry it has been a while since I have posted anything, but I have been somewhat “pre-occupied”. To better explain the title….my husband and I have MOVED!!!! That’s right, about 10 months ago he was offered a promotion which would involve relocation….
after much thought and consideration, we decided to take the “plunge”. It is a wonderful opportunity for him, career wise, and certainly a new adventure for me. We weighed out our options, and decided to purchase a townhome, close to his office, with no lawn maintenance, so that we could keep our “cottage by the sea”…. The commute for weekends is only about 2 hours, so we can have the best of both worlds….We consider ourselves truly blessed and are thankful everyday for this opportunity………
Now, for the fun part…..I have to decorate a townhome!!!! Thank goodness for HomeGoods! I look forward to sharing this venture with you, and I welcome your thoughts, ideas and suggestions for the new house…..let’s get started!
I promise I will be posting more often and keeping you up-to-speed on the progress. I have already purchased some furnishings, but basically it is still a “vanilla” house…..I need color! Having 2 homes I do have to be cautious about cost…..there again, thank goodness for HG!!!

LOVE IT Do you LOVE IT?

3. Alli, I too am a HomeGoods Gal and have decorated my home and condo, and now on a Mt. home. I just love to go there and find the wonderful items you see in the designer stores , but cost so much less! I can tell you all the HomeGoods in MI, Naples area, and Now, Alpharetta GA area! MY SISTER AND I LOVE HOMEGOODS.

4. Hi Alli,

What a great opportunity! I love the way your house looks! I totally agree that a townhouse can be the best of two worlds. You have a great house to live in without having the enormous maintenance. Good luck to you and your husband! Let this location be your blessing of blessings.

I am so excited! There are 3 HomeGoods within a 20 mile radius of my new home……I am very lucky. When i travel the first thing I do is check to see if there is a store in the area I am going…..I guess we are addicted!

7. Congrats on the move Alli,

I’ve moved 3 times in the past 10 years, and LOVE it. Get to make new friends, and best of all…redecorate! I mean a whole new floor plan to work it…it’s exciting!

Here’s a tip…do the guest room first so your friends can come help you get the rest sorted out! ;)

Enjoy!
