Betty I loved your idea on different ways to decorate your tables. There are so many wonderful ideas out there. I love looking through various magazines to get ideas on easy but welcoming table decor. This is my current arrangement for the summer. It was so easy and needs no care except a little dusting occasionally. So often I find things to use just by wandering around the house and moving things around a little. Or a trip to our favorite store to add that odd “treasure” that becomes the perfect accent. Way to keep us thinking girl!

2. Deb,
Your home always looks so warm and inviting….it seems as though you would be able to smell an apple pie baking in the oven…..I am sure your children love to come and visit….
Thanks for sharing….

3. Thanks Cathy and Alli, That would be true Alli if I liked to bake. I must say though that I can tell you where to find the good bakeries. LOL I must admit, I do love it when family comes to visit.

5. Take the place mat out from under the setting and also the flowers. Have one color of flowers in the bowl not such a variety. It think it would be more elegant and simple.

7. I love the punch tin cabinet you have. Can you tell me where you found it?

by Jenny — 10/17/07 at 3:15 pm #

8. Thank you Jenny, It was purchased a number of years ago from a company called, Oak Tree Furniture. They can currently be found in Chesterfield, MO; where they moved from St. Charles. If that doesn’t work for your location, you might want to try a google search with the words punch tin cabinet and your area and see what happens. Blessings, I hope you find what you are looking for!
