First and foremost, thanks to everyone for your comments and ideas on the “blue wall”. I have lived with the color for 2 weeks now, and I love it more and more each day. There are still things I want to add to the room, but the color was definitely a positive impact! If you are thinking of a dramatic color for an added punch…GO FOR IT!!!!!

LOVE IT Do you LOVE IT?

4. Hello Alli,

Its done and it looks great. Very sophistocated and chic. The blue wall added the drama and backdrop to your furnishings. Love the repeat of the blue in the room…vase, pillow etc. It looks like you got new art over your sofa. Nice contrast to the wall.
I love it and I know you do to.

13. I love the blue and am trying to create the blue in a bedroom. I got a quilt from HG and I love it.. It is a Ridgefield Home Quilt in blue, twin. But, I could only get 1 twin, (they have many full/queen or Kings.) Obviously, I need 2 twins. Any idea where I can get a second blue twin quilt Ridgefield Home or who can tell me what company actually manufactures Ridgefield Home. Thank You…

14. Hi to all – I’m new in town (so to speak). I am thrilled I found this group because right now we are in the midst of adding on a full bathroom to the back of our house – 12′ x 11′ feet. It is so exciting watching the construction progress – BUT – I found you tonight. My plan is to use blues, sage and coffee/cocoa colors in the room and you have given me so many ideas toward completion. I’ll let you know how the room fulfills itself. Thanks again. Terry

19. I have just recently moved into a new house and I painted one of my bedrooms blue. Well the problem I am having is finding a bedspread that would go nicely in there. The color is bunglelhouse blue sherwilliams colors- one of the historical colors. Also any ideas where I can find a nice duvet cover in toile (perferable black and white)?

Thanks

by Claudia — 11/1/07 at 12:50 pm #

20. Hi Claudia,
I looked on line at your color and I am sure it is beautiful in your bedroom.
If you are having difficulty finding the blue, try going with a complimentary color such as a warm buttery yellow or even a sage green,
The black and white toile would also look nice. Try one of my favorite companies…Country Curtains. You can see their selections on line at http://www.countrycurtains.com Good luck and happy decorating!
