October 31st -Halloween- is my sister’s birthday! She has been saying for the entire year that she wanted to buy cookware like Martha Stewart. I decided that I was going to give her cookware as a birthday gift. However, I probably wouldn’t be able to afford what Martha Stewart uses in her kitchen. But I would give her a great set of cookware that we had seen at my favorite store. She was determined to buy a set of pots, pans, a roaster and other cookware/bakeware before Thanksgiving so that she could really glorify in cooking her remarkable dinners for the holidays. I was excited to surprise her and see the joy on her face. And guess what, I included a Martha Stewart Cook Book (smile).
So, you will see a birthday card, a Thanksgiving Day card, a Christmas card and a Valentines Day card. This gift would be appropriate for any of these occasions, or one gift suffice for all. As you can see, I am helping my sister get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She is a great person and a great cook who deserves the best cook-bakewares.
Is it time for you to start picking out the gifts that you will be giving?

3. Hi Betty,
Your sister is lucky to have you as a sister. What a nice gift. Every time she cooks something she’ll think of you :). Yes, its not too early to think about gift giving for the Holidays. I always start early to avoid the crowds and risk not finding what I want… I guess I better get out and start looking.
Happy Shopping!

4. An excellent gift, Betty, and a wonderful suggestion. The gift can be for any occasion. Your decision to use all the different cards reminds me of something my own sister would do. You can wish a “Happy Day” for ANY day. Good job!

5. Hi Fran,
Thank you so much for the compliment! My sister is a worthy person and it is best to give her her flowers now. You are right, you can wish a Happy Day or a card with no specific purpose. Maybe a “Just Because You are You” card would also be great. It is so important to let others know that we care about them in small ways.

7. Hi Cathy,
The best part about it is getting started and realizing that the season is creeping upon us very quickly. Before we know it, it will be that incredible gift-giving time. As I have said previously, I am blessed to have such a wonderful family. Life is so short and we have to cherish every moment!
As always, thank you Cathy for your kind and supportive words. Happy Shopping!!!!!!

The doors are always open and the tables are always set. (smile) There is always a great “welcome” sign that lets everyone know that the blessing is in the sharing and giving.

10. Hi Carla,
You are right! The cookware has been sold off of the shelves. It has gone so fast. I referred a friend to buy for his mother and he indicated that much of what I had shared with him was sold. I encouraged him to return, because the shelves will be replenished. They have all kinds of cookware. Some are in color, and they are beautiful and very sturdy. it is a tremendous gift to give, because it will last for many years to come.
Get it now while you have a chance and you’ll be glad that you did. My sister loves her set!!!!
