I spent a little time this weekend poking around on the HG OpenHouse site. Now, I suppose you think that’s all we bloggers have to do, but like the rest of you we lead very active lives with a long list of to dos!
Anyway, I wanted to take a minute and encourage everyone to check out the Customer Finds section in the lower right hand column of the site. HG shoppers are brilliant, if I do say so myself! The finds are beautiful and the ideas are really great. I especially liked Kimberly’s entertaining ideas, the apothacary decanter is gorgeous, and the candy buffet is not only beautiful but looks “yummy” as well. I got to thinking about what a beautiful display could be made for the holidays on a sofa table or mantel with beautiful candy dishes, jars, even beautiful stemware filled with colorful candies.
So, keep those ideas and finds coming girls (and guys) we love hearing from you and your treasures and their uses keep us on the hunt as well.
1. Deb,
I agree 100%….All HomeGoods customers look and find unique treasures, it is always so much fun to see what someone else has run across…..Makes you want to go shopping!!!!!!
thanks again,

2. I can’t seem to find the curtains on line. I’m sure I saw them in the store.
Thanks,

4. Hi Deb,
There’s some really great stuff customers have found at HomeGoods. I check the “Customer Finds” all the time to see how wonderful people have decorated their homes and sent pictures in to show us all. Thanks for reminding us to check it out often. We have some very talented bloggers. I enjoy seeing all they have done.

5. Hi Deb,
The HomeGoods customers have shared remarkable and beautiful finds that we have all found quite lovely. I am so pleased that they took the time to stop and share with us and other people who visits the site. This always stimulates interest and takes you back into the store to say “What else is new here”?

6. I recently moved from the north to The Villages, FL 32162 along with 60,000+ and rapidly growing numbers of other northerners. We are continually driving over an hour each way to shop HG. Why, why, why isn’t there a HG store here? We all need to furnish our new homes with all new “southern” accents, furniture, rugs, etc.. Countless shopping malls are being built here - get on the bandwagon, HG - don’t miss out on a terrific opportunity!!!
Thank you!

8. My mom and I just found HomeGoods. We drove an hour just to find your store. Needless to say we got lost and by the time we made it to the store it was closing time. We LOVED the store so much that we were full of anxiety that the store was closing. We are planning a day off so we can drive back and spend some quality time in that store. I noticed on the website that HomeGoods is opening up many more stores in 2007. We live in Bakersfield, California. We are a big city with over 300,000 people and we have NOTHING and I do mean nothing here compared to HomeGoods. We do have T.J. Maxx and Marshalls but HomeGoods is Like the best of those stores and MUCH MUCH more. Does HomeGoods by any chance plan on opening a store in Bakersfield California. We are in desperate need of a store like this.

9. Hi Cristi,
At this time HomeGoods does not have any plans to open a store in the Bakersfield, CA area, but please be assured we have forwarded your request to our Real Estate Department.
Thanks for your inquiry!

10. Hi,
Does anyone know if Home Goods will ever come to Virginia? I live 30 mi. south of Richmond. I had never heard of Home Goods before I visited Georgia several months ago and I just loved this store.

12. My new favorite find at Home Goods is this reed diffuser!! I’ve never seen them before. It seems to be a new technolgy for home fragrance. It comes with a bottle of oil and reeds. The oli is diffused through the wooden reeds. It takes about a day for the oil to travel up the reeds, but after it does… the scent fills my entire living room. I’ve gone back to purchase more for the rest of the rooms in my house but can’t find any at the local HG. Please help!! Also, if any one has any favorite fragrances to try let me know!
Thanks!!
