I was really struck by this Home Fragrance Lamp.  Most unusual and elegant.  It becomes a part of the decor of your home, but most of all, it provides an opportunity for you to have the best  fragrances to grace your home in such a masterful way, that you will be floored.  This makes a wonderful gift for someone that you care about that loves to have their home smelling great.

The shapes and the bottle designs will vary.  You pick out the size and design that is best for you - either for yourself or for the individual/s that you are giving the gift.  You can decide on the fragranced fuel/the scented lamp essence that you like the best.  There are several to choose from.  This is how it works:

1.  A funnel is used to put the scented lamp essence in the bottle - 2/3 full.

2.  The wick and burner stone assembly is inserted.  The burner stone rests on the neck of the openning.

3.  Let the wick and burner stone to set for two to three minutes.

4.  Put the snuffer cap over the burner stone and wait 20 minutes.

5.  Remove the snuffer cap and light the burner stone.  Make sure that there is nothing near it that would be flammable.

6.  Allow the stone to burn for at least two to three minutes.

7.  Blow out the flame and put the decorative shade over the burner stone.  The fragrance that embraces your home will be wonderful!

1. Wow Betty,
I’ve never heard of anything like this. Where did you get it? Its great because you don’t have to have an open flame, except to get it going.
How long does the fragrance last before you have to relight it again?
It sure a lovely piece as well. Really great gift idea !!
You always find the neatest stuff !!

4. Hi Cathy,

Thank you so much! I saw the Home Fragrance Lamp for the first time in Botanical Home and Gardens, a store in Howard County, Maryland. If your local HomeGoods does not have it, try Crabtree and Evelyn - specializing in Toiletries and everyday luxury gifts. The fragrance would embrace your beautiful home.

Again, Thank you Cathy. You are always inspiring.

5. Hi Margie,

I’m so pleased that you like the Home Fragrance Lamp. If you can’t find it in HomeGoods, you might check with the Crabtree & Evelyn Store. The cost for the Home Fragrance Lamp was $35.00 and the fragrance fuel/scented lamp essence was $12,00 - tax not include with the totals that I have given you. The styles were quite lovely. Most of the bottles that you will see are round. However, some are square and multiple shapes that are quite beautiful.

Let me know how you make out. I hope that you will be able to find it. If you have any additional questions, please let me know.

Thanks for sharing! Happy Holidays!

6. Hi Betty,

I began to look at this website and I really love it. But at first I saw that you have a home fragramce lamp like I purchased. I know now that I was robbed. I went to a small boutique and I thought that I was geting something different and exclusive. You would not believe that I paid $89.95. I have the same color and everything. Is yours by Noel? If so you really got the better deal. You said that it cost $35.00. Is that right? You knowwhat, you got to be sensible and check cost before you spend. Thanks! I have had mind for one month and I will take it back. Thanks. Have a nice holiday.

7. I have seen a big selection of these Fragrance Lamps at different Hallmark stores and their prices vary roughly from about $40.00 to $90.00…I love these too!

8. Hi Mona,

I’m glad that you like this site. It is really great to be able to communicate with people who have the same interest evolving around decorating and entertaining. Yes! My Home Fragrance Lamp is a Noel and it did cost $35.00. If you have the same lamp, and you paid $89.95, you have spent $54.95 more than I did. I hope that you can get a refund. But, it is a great gift to give. I purchase this for someone, then I decided to keep it for myself. This has become my Christmas gift. I have purchased another for the gift that I will give.

Mona, I hope that you are able to get this resolved. Thank you so much for contacting us. Let us know how you make out. Continue to check the site and share with us. We look forward to hearing from you.

9. Hi Maria,

You are so right! In fact, some of the lamps cost as much as $140.00. One of them was so gorgeous, I said that I knew that someone would buy it at that price, but I wouldn’t. Thank you for reminding me. I must say, like you, I do love them, but since I am an individual that seeks bargains prices with value pieces, I must restrain from spending unneccessarily.
So enjoy shopping and have a lot of fun! Enjoy Christmas! Let us hear from you again.

10. Just a question to Mona. Why do you think you should be able to return a fragrance lamp that you bought and used for a month? Whose fault is it that you did not shop around first? This drives the cost up for all of us since the company can’t resell your lamp…they have to make up for it by raising prices. The store can put any price they want..and you choose if you want to buy it. Be a responsible shopper and if you make a mistake…learn from it, but pay for it yourself.

11. google that lamp…..i almost bought one through a high end catalogie, thinking it would be a safer althnative tp a burning candle, however when i did that, I discpbered that some had already been recalled for fire hazards.

12. Hi Cassy,

Thank you again for pertinent information! I didn’t hear this, but I will keep my eyes and ears open for learning as much as possible about safe and unsafe means/products in the home.

Again, thank you! Have a great day and continue to share with us. We look forward to hearing from you.

13. Hi Again Cassy,

Could you have been talking about Home Fragrance Oils? I know that these are dangerous and I realize that if the bottle topples over with all of that oil ready to spill out, you could have a serious fire on you hands.

14. On Feb. 26,2008 on DIY channel. I believe this is the right channel. I saw the show Catalog this. The people on the show had to shop from a catalog and if they stayed within a certain price range they got to keep the furniture and accessories. The wife had her turn, then the husband. Then they had to decide what to keep between them. On this show they had a cd holder in the shape of an old gas pump, listed for about $29.95 or somewhere in there. Thank god for tivo I was able to go back to see who had it. They said homegoods carried this. Do you still have this item. Would love to locate this. My husband would love me forever for this one. Hope you still have it. Thanks …Beth
