I just wanted to take a quick moment to share with you the overall view of our great room decorated for Christmas. I love the feeling of warmth and the invitation to grab a comfy throw, to cuddle by the fire with a warm drink, in the glow of the tree with beautiful Christmas music playing. Okay you’re right, I’m still a romantic after all of these years. What feeling do like your home to express when friends and family come to visit?

LOVE IT Do you LOVE IT?

1. Hi Deb,

The room is beautiful and cozy and warm. You’re right! It is as though you want to cuddle before the fireplace and listen to soft music and drink hot cider with cinnamon sticks included.

what a beautiful way to prepare for Christmas!

3. Hi Deb,

I love seeing your whole room with your tree in it. You have the prettiest view out of those big windows. What a beautiful room to sit in and watch nature go by. Nothing like a warm fire, Christmas lights, and a cup of hot chocolate to sooth the soul. I like my home to feel comfortable, warm and welcoming when guests come to visit. Yours has all that and more. Love the angels on the sofa table.
A lovely room.

6. Hmmmm…I could just see myself taking a cozy nap on that lovely red sofa and watching the lights on the trees! Love the view out the windows too! So, to answer your question, I want guests to feel totally at home and relaxed. Now, about that nap…can you pencil me in? LOL

7. Wow! Thanks to you all for your wonderful encouragement. It is such a joy to see the lovely rooms and ideas that everyone is sharing. I have always loved magazines the month of December, for decorating ideas and recipes. This is like having our very own magazine that gets new pages each and every day. I love it!!! Happy December! Merry Christmas!
