With all those guests coming to your house, don’t forget to dress up the Powder Room. This small space doesn’t need much to convey a Holiday feel.
In mine, I just set some pine garland around the sink and over the mirror,( looks like a big ornament), a few ornaments, bow, monogram hand towel, small candles, towels tied with some decorations and don’t forget a vanilla, cinnamon, or pine scented fragrance to fill the air as well. Thats about all it takes to make guests feel special

Its always nice to decorate even the smallest spaces. Your guests will notice the details and appreciate your efforts.

3. Thanks Alli,
The stripes on the wall wern’t too hard to paint in a small space. These are 3 1/2″ stripes. Paint the lighter base color (mine was white) then measure and blue tape the top color. Use a level to keep them straight.
The ceiling is low in this bathroom, so the vertical stripes seem to heighten it. Not hard.
Happy Holidays to you too.

5. Cathy,

I have finally realized why I absolutely love your home and all of your beautiful decorating. When my dh and I were married we wanted to go with black/white basics, and use primary colors for accents. However, we were married when avocado/gold was on the scene and once we got started we had favorite items that went with us and . . . oh well, we never got back to our orginal plans. Every time I see your house, I either want to come and live with you or completely start over here. Neither of which do I really think will work. LOL Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home with all of us.

6. Cathy,

There is no end to your remarkable talent! This is ever so lovely and most creative! You are a blessing.

Your home is so ready for Christmas and every aspect of it is a winner. I am not putting up too much decorating because I will be gone most of December. But I have done minor decorations. I am so proud of you wonderful ladies. You are so together and you make everyone proud!

Better Homes and Gardens will be calling soon!
