I didn’t put up a lot of outdoor decorations and lights this year… (too busy stenciling I guess),. But I did, at least, light up the entry.
If, some years, you can’t do as much outdoor decorating as you want, concentrate all your efforts on the entry. Its the main area guests will see as they visit your house. Make IT have all the impact and leave the big electric bill to the neighbor next door.

My little display looks festive at night, all lit up.

I had to put a few ornaments on my patio palm. Dressed for the holidays. I guess any tree can be a Christmas tree.
Christmas lights are always a joy to see, whether you light up the neighborhood or just your front door. It always says Welcome to my Holiday Home.

LOVE IT Do you LOVE IT?

2. Thanks so much Alli,

No ,I don’t work around the clock, not even part way. What I do, has to be easy, quick and cheap. Also, a small house is not hard to decorate. I guess it looks harder than it was. I’m glad you enjoyed it.

In response to your “creatures not stirring”… I did hear some clatter up on the roof top….So, with that said….Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night !!

10. Cathy,

What beautiful decorations. I’m new to the board and I think this is a great way to see what others are doing to decoreate their homes for the holidays. One of my favorite ways to decorate is with candles. I found this amazing fragrance at HG called Sparkling Delight. It’s a great every day scent and perfect for the holidays.
