This is such a wonderful experience!  On December 4th the sun was shining so beautifully.  The temperature was approximately 37 degrees, but it was such a gorgeous day.  It was the best time to take a picture of the Christmas wreath on the front door.¼br> This is a wreath that I made three years ago, but I gave it additional life last year by adding new and different decorative pieces.  With the flood lights on it at night, it gives a warm and festive appearance.

The very next day, December 5th, the snow was falling and at approximately 6:00 pm, it was so beautiful that I had to capture a picture of the front of the house as  the snow blanketed the grass, the trees and everything around.  I love the beauty and variation of the sun shining bright one day and the snow falling the next day.

It looked like a beautiful Christmas card.  As a result, I was able to capture such a tender moment. What I am most sorry about is that the singular Christmas light in each window did not show up very well.  All of us have those tender moments. Share with us and let us know what your tender moments are or have been during this festive and memorable time of year.  We would love to hear from you.¼/p>

1. Hi Betty…I LOVE the way you captured the snowflakes in that second picture! It’s almost 3D! And your wreath really pops nicely on your door. Kudo’s on updating something you already had!

2. Yes Betty,
This is a Christmas card picture. Lovely wreath too. You’ve captured the essence of Christmas with this photo. It will be a white Christmas for you, how perfect.
Now, are all those white dots really snow or do you have the “orb” problem Alli had? The “ghosts of Christmas Present” are visiting you too.
LOL..
Simply lovely,
Cathy

5. Hi Susan,

It’s always great to hear from you! I had no idea that this picture would turn out like that. I was just so captured by the beauty of the falling snow and how the sun had me so mesmerized the day before. Making wreaths has been something that I have enjoyed doing for friends and family the previous three years. Thank you so much for the wonderful comments!

Great luck on your blogging! You have so much to offer. We love looking at your website. Keep coming up with the great ideas.

Be Blessed,

6. Hi Cathy,

You are so crazy! Thank you for making me laugh (smile). Yes! This was the wonderful falling snow. I can not believe how I was able to capture it. Anyone who knows me knows that I am not much of a photographer, but the angels handled the camera and took the picture(smile). Thank you for being who you are and always so wonderfully supportive!

Be Blessed,

7. Hi Linda,

Thank you so very much for your vote of confidence (smile). You are so kind and free with “beautiful” words. It means so much to have this great support. I was quite surprised about how the picture of the falling snow came out and I was eager to share it. I am glad that you liked both pictures. It evidently reminded you of a tender moment!

Have a wonderful Christmas and enjoy an exciting and profitable New Year!

10. Hi Alli,

This snow only lasted for one full day. In two days there was no indication that it had even snowed. It was so beautiful and it was a perfect picture for Christmas; however, I will be in Floriday for the holidays and won’t be around if it does snow on Christmas. We are anticipating snow for this weekend. I think that you will probably get it there. (smile) So, we send it your way.

Thank you for your wonderful and supportive comments! Remember, celebrate everyday is if it was Christmas!

11. Betty,
You have a lovely home and a great front door….your wreath should be larger for better curb appeal…..A good formula is this…the width of your door minus 6-8 inches…since the standard front door is approx. 36 inches….a 28″ -30″ wreath is perfect…homegoods has many beautiful wreaths of that size to choose from as well as embellishments to give it that “personalized” touch..Happy holidays

12. Hi Charisse,

Thank you for your suggestion! You are right. In the past, the wreath has always been larger, but I chose two years ago to make it smaller. when the light is on the wreath at night, it seems to illuminate. when I had the larger wreath, some friends family told me that they liked the smaller wreath better. But, I agree with you. The wreaths on the inside of my house are larger. Thanks loads!!!

Have a wonderful Christmas and a terrific New Year!

13. Knock Knock, Betty,

I told you I’d come to visit you! Let me in, it’s cold out here!
It’s still a beautiful sight…orbs and all !! LOL!

I bet you’ve decked -the-halls beautifully again this year.

Well, I guess no one’s home..I just stopped by to wish you a Merry Christmas. I’ll come back later.
