I was priviledged to have one of the most awesome experiences recently when I went to Alexandria, Virginia. I was introduced to a company that makes table wines. It was such a surreal experience, especially since I am a non-drinker. You are able to mix your own specialty wine from a variety of wine-stock or settle for the variety that they have in stock. A significant point is that you can have your own labels made by the company and put on the wine bottles, which would give you a case or batch of your own labeled wines. A case consist of 12 and a batch consists of 24 bottles. This is great for holiday celebrations. You may decide to keep them in your own wine cabinet or wine cellar or merely give them as gifts. I decided to give most of my wine as gifts to family, friends and clients. What is so cool is when people see your name on the bottle and that can be quite impressive.
This is a great gift to give to your mate, someone very special, or give it to yourself. If you decide to give the gift to someone else, you can then personalize their name on the wine bottles. If you decide to gift yourself, it is at that point that you can make a decision to share and give gifts to other persons and then your gift serves multi-purposes. I was really impressed with this concept and loved the idea of having personalized labeled wines. This company is doing tremendous business throughout the year. Think about it, is this a gift that you would consider having or giving?¼/p>

2. Yes that is truly a wonderful idea. We love anything personalized so wine bottles with their names is surely a hit. People may also be interested in having wine bags made with the “giver’s” name to put the bottles into. You can see from this link what the wine bags look like:

5. Hi Abby,
I wish that I had known about your company before. It is a great idea and I will keep your website address to share with others as well. It would have been great to have personalized festive bags to include in the presentation. You might be able to share the idea with the company and they can share it with their clientelle. They are new, but they appear to be doing great business.
Thank you so much for sharing and keep in touch. I will share accordingly the information that you provided. Have a wonderful and properous New Year!

7. This is such a great idea. I wish that I had known about it before Christmas because I would have given it to my fiance for a Christmas present. We are having a New Years eve party and the personalized wine would be great to serve our friends. Do you know if they will ship the wine to other states. I would love to know and so would my fiance.
Thanks for telling us about personalized wines. Happy new year.

8. Betty,
Thanks for the information. We checked this out and are going to see what we can do to get the this personalized table wine. We love the idea and think that others will to. I need to know if we will have to pick it up or can they send it to us if we transact business by phone. I guess we will have to ask them that. Thank you for this and we will let you know what happened.

9. Hi Tracy,
I didn’t learn about it until a few weeks before Christmas. If I had known about it earlier, I would have gladly shared the information. I am not too sure about how they ship, but you can get in touch with the company and they will let you know. I am sure that both you and your fiance will enjoy the variation and the specialty of it all.
Happy New Year to you and may you have prosperous times for 2008.

10. Hi Yvonne,
I am pleased that you are pleased! Let me know how you make out with getting these personalized table wines. Before you finish your negotiation with them find out their process for delivery. The one thing that I do know is that I could not send a few bottles to a family member out of state through the Post Office, because any beverages of that nature are prohibited. But, I still have to find out from the company how I can send wine to family members out of state.
Thanks loads for your sharing and have a wonderful and properous New Year! Let us hear from you in 2008.

11. I used to work for a wine/spirits e-commerce company, and while the list of states allowing shipment of wine is limited, it has indeed grown. Of course, it’s always more fun to deliver something like this in person…especially if you think they will share (wink, wink).
Great idea…thanks for sharing!

13. Hi Susan,
Happy New Year to you! The information that you provide is great! I was told that since 9/11 the airlines will not allow for the shipment of any wines or other semi-alcoholic beverages. I will check and see what the possibility is with the company that makes the wines to see what process they use. Thanks so much! I hope that you had a remarkable holiday and that the new year will be a wonderful addition for your family and your business.

16. Hi Rese,
The company is Carafe Wines in Alexandria Va. It is a new establishment there and quite exciting. Everyone has indicated that they love the service, the wine and the awesome labels. One husband and wife told me that they had their pictures put on the bottle. That wouldn’t be my choice, but each person has his own interpretation of what he or she would be most impresssed with. I think that you will be quite pleased. Let me know what you think and how you make out. Good luck!
