HG Openhouse Blog

As my face dissappears from our favorite blog “HomeGoods Openhouse” I wanted to come on once more and say a few words.

I feel like a helped birth a child, one who was tended with warmth, friendship and joy. Inspiration, creativity and trustfulness were the mothers of its invention. Placed within the hands of Cathy, Betty, Alli, Deb and myself, we watched the blog come to life.

Our child is having a birthday, and will go through changes and continue to blossom and grow. I thank each and everyone who created and nurtured it. It is no longer a child, but a home for good friends to visit and be inspired, as well as inspire. A place to be creative, compassionate and humble.

Thank you each and everyone of you. For this journey has been one I will never forget. The timing is such that I have to, not because I want to, but because I want what is good for our blog, to leave her in the capable hands that will bring her to maturity.

Having said this, I will close by telling you, like a Mom my spirit will always be with you all. This is not goodbye, I’m just moving to a new role. One of old friend who will drop by, add a comment or post some of my finds and creations. God bless and stay well, Janice
