HG Openhouse Blog

There is no one kind of HomeGoods shopper, and that’s why it’s wonderful to hear from everyone! The HG Openhouse Blog is a place for shoppers to talk to fellow shoppers about their passion for home and get tips on everything and anything from organizing to decorating to gifting and more.

Wow! One day you are a blogger, and the next day you are not…..I had spoken with the folks at HomeGoods and we decided that between 2 homes and a new job, I could not commit to posting on a weekly basis, therefore I would “step down” and make way for fresh faces and new bloggers….I kind of feel like I am making my “good bye” speech and giving up my crown in a pageant….LOL, just kidding.
Seriously, I would like to thank all the wonderful people at HG who took a chance on 5 ladies who were completely new to the “bloggasphere”, and created a wonderful project! I also would like to thank all the folks who were so loyal and supportive of my post….Margie Fitchlee, Susan Smith, and of course my dear friend “Abbigail”
I will continue to visit the blog and of course shop at HomeGoods. Best wishes for continued success with the “Open House blog”, and to my fellow bloggers, Betty, Cathy, Deb and Janice, I will always feel that you all are a part of my extended family. Please stay in touch!
So “ta ta for now” and as always “happy decorating”

2. Alli,

It’s hard to see you go. I will miss you a lot. You are a busy lady, but please don’t forget to check back with all of us from time to time. You’ve contributed so many wonderful blogs to this site. They will continue to inform and inspire all who read them. Thanks for being such a good friend to all of us. Much success to you in your new job, enjoy those beautiful homes and many blessings to you and your family.

All the best to you dear friend,

Love,
Cathy

3. Dear Alli: I keep looking for new blogs from you…I love your style of decorating, your house on the water and your new place too…remember the blue wall? What controversy you created with that project…I still keep up with what all of you great ladies have to offer us want-to-be decorators and thank-you for sharing your ideas and pictures with all of us…I continue to shop the Homegoods store in Venice Florida and also stopped into a great new one in Cape Coral Florida…my home is Florida is starting to take shape and in time I hope to have it furnished completely (if there is a time we completely finish decorating) best of luck to you and keep enjoying that cottage by the sea…from an admirer Margie

4. Dear Alli,

You have been such a tremedous reward to us all. You talent, style, design and tremendous humor always brought the best out of us. Thank you for what you have given to HomeGoods, the bloggers who responded to your design ideas and to your HG bloggers. I am grateful to HomeGoods that they thought us worthy to bring the five of us together and enable us to establish a friendship and a family among ourselves. Continue to do the great things that you do so well. We will continue to be in touch. Be Blessed! Remember, celebrate everyday as if it is Christmas!

(Please forgive what appears to be a slow response to your message of farewell, but as usual, my post was out of commission for a few days.)
