Here are a few more pictures of the rest of the suite.

The bedroom is nice by itself, but it’s a whole suite. A full bathroom and large closet are off a hallway in the space. The entry to the suite is on the right. Across from that is the large walk-in closet on the left. Straight ahead is the bathroom.

The young lady likes dots, so we “stamped” black dots in the entry with a round foam stencil brush. Black craft paint was used to stamp the dots, and a 5″ spacer was used to keep the rows even and uniform. This was so easy and super cheap. It repeated the dots on her bedding in larger scale. We also taped off the pink borders/frames around the doors, outlined in grey for shading and depth. The Mom and I had a great time working on the room.

The whole bathroom was painted our hot pink color. We found a great shower curtain in the damask pattern. A cute towel rack was hung on the wall, with white towels and black monogrammed name. A few cute accessories, trash can, tissue holder, soap dish, lotion etc. repeat the theme of the room. We still have a few more things to do in here, like hang her name in white wood letters with black dots (more dots), over the towel rack, and a few other things. It’s a great cheerful space and perfect for a darling young lady.

2. What are the black dots. Are they painted or stick ons.

3. Hello Julie,

Thank you. You asked about the grey shading around the pink borders.
To make the “frame” look like it has a little dimension. We painted a thin 1/8″ line around the pink with a light grey paint. If you’re good at Tromp l’oeil, you can paint a grey shadow around the doors, mirror and bulletin boards to make them look dimensional…this is what we were going for.
It seemed to set off the color and frame idea better.
Thanks for asking.
Write back soon,
LYC

4. Hi Barbara,

The black dots are paint, acrylic craft paint. A round sponge, stencil brush was used to dip into the paint and then stamped onto the wall. You might have to add a few drops of water to the paint to thin it a bit. Practice on a large piece of paper first. It’s sooo easy but adds a great pattern to the room…if you like dots! We did!

7. Hi Sophia,

I haven’t seen the B/W damask pattern in a duvet cover. You could always buy fabric and have one made or make it yourself. Look online, google “black and white damask fabric” and you should be able to find fabric. All a duvet is, is a big pillowcase, sewn around 3 sides and open, with buttons or ties on one end to insert a comforter. So, not hard to make. The B/W damask shower curtain we got at Bed, Bath and Beyond.
But, you might find one online as well.
If anyone has seen these things, please write in and let her know. Thanks.
Good luck on finding them.
