Hi Everyone!
I’d like to introduce myself. My name is Penny and I am a mosaic artist. I own my own online boutique, Lavender Hill Studio where I sell my mosaics and whimsical lighting. My mosaics are created with vintage china and stained glass. My lighting is created from vintage chandeliers. teapots, tea cups and prisms. I am thrilled to be a part of Home Goods Open House Blog! In my first post I thought I would tell a little bit about myself, my decorating style and give you a peak into my mosaic studio and my home (which are one and the same).

My decorating style is Old World Chic with a little American Cottage thrown in for good measure. I love toile, roosters, checks, birds nests, mercury glass and more. Combine all of that with a red and white checked quilt and you have my decorating style!

When not in my mosaic studio you can find me in the garden, at the flea market, thrifting, seeking out bargains at Home Goods, creating cozy dinners for two to a crowd and reading decorating magazines and blogs. In future posts I will share recipes, gardening ideas, decorating ideas, turning flea market finds into wonderful pieces for your home and much more. I look forward to meeting all of you and welcome your comments.

LOVE IT Do you LOVE IT?

40. Hi Casey,
You asked about my office chair. I bought it about two years ago on EBAY. I don’t remember the name of the seller but I remember they did come in wood tones and black too. I just typed Office Chairs in the Search spot on EBAY….Hope you find yours!

43. Hi Penny. I found this post through Heather Bullard’s post on chandeliers. Your link was at the bottom =) How convenient is that?! You know I love your style. I’m a huge Old World fan. In fact, most of my house is done in Old World tuscan style. Your article is wonderful – as always! Blessings… Polly
