northern lights candleI’m a nut for candles, especially in autumn and winter, when the days grow short and the weather grows cold. The romance, the aroma, the way the glow from a candle’s flickering light can set a calming tone to a room just makes me feel so comfortable and relaxed. To walk in a room and smell pumpkin spice, vanilla or apple cider just makes it so cozy!
Aah, so perfect after a long day at work, or errand running. My current favorite candles are made by a company called Northern Lights Candles, which I only discovered this season. They smell so fresh and clean and yummy all at the same time, and they are in beautiful containers that look like mercury glass. They’re priced right too, and when you finish burning the candle you can always use the container again with a votive candle or short pillar as a replacement.
Are you a candle nut? If so, what are your favorite brands?

3. I love these candles too! We are in a no candles time frame though because we have little ones running around. I will probably try to decorate with them some and light them after the kids go to bed. Sigh…I love the Holiday Season!

5. I love candles too! I fill the fireplace up with them, due to the fact that I do not like to clean up burnt wood, ha ha
My favorite though is Trapp–and I just found out they make a new holiday scent. Can’t wait to decorate for Christmas Thurs night and light the candles!
Great Post Tracey!

6. Hi Tracey -
I love candles this time of year, too. I’ve been on a personal mission to make sure I have lots of candles out - and in use - since it began to get dark earlier this Fall. And I love to put on some relaxing music, light a candle or two and soak in the tub at the end of a busy day!

Thanks for your post today. It’s good to see you here.

7. These things burn forever and smell amazing, without being overwhelming. Certainly leave a pleasant olfactory ambiance.

8. Gorgeous, Tracey. I love how they look like mercury glass! I’m on the hunt. I’ve seen them around, but I know the prices are better on the ones at Home Goods. Next time I’m near the airport, (Cascade Station love that store…) I’m there!

9. I’m going to have to try these candles. I’ve gotten kind of disappointed lately with the big bucks brand that I was using. The container on that one is so pretty… perfect for my living room!

10. Are you trying to sell these? It sounds like a ad for a product your selling.
