I know the Super Bowl isn’t exactly decorating conversation. It is however a great opportunity to entertain. Super Bowl parties are always fun with plenty to do, yummy food, and lots of noisy conversation. They are great occassions to get together with family and friends and act like a kid – to jump up and down and yell at the television, to choose your favorite commercial, and grimmace over wardrobe malfunctiions during the half-time show. So, whether you are planning a last minute get together, or you have had your invitations out for weeks - I have found a couple of great web sites to help you with those last minute preparations.

The first site is: Celebrations – Fabulous Parties Made Easy! This site has a long list of potential parties. They even have with a few reasons for parties that were new to me.
The link above will direct you to more plans for a Super Bowl Party than I knew existed. There are pages of recipes, decorations, tips, and activities. There is a list of ideas for a “Girls Only Super Bowl Party.” There is a Super Bowl viewing guide to help you know the scedule of events to plan the timing of your party, and some suggestions for kids games to help keep the younger crowd occupied during the festivities. Well, as you can tell I really enjoyed Celebrations.
When you are finished with Celebrations and you are looking for a few extras - Super Bowl Fun will fill in the gaps. There you will find fun facts, the history of the Super Bowl, little tidbits of information to impress your guests when the activity on the gridiron slows down, and a long list of free Super Bowl games to have available for those who lose interest in watching the “big game.”
So, have fun this weekend. Let us know some of your party plans or recipes that went over extremely well. I’m not going to tell you the team for which we are cheering, but knowing that I am a girl from St. Louis . . . you might be able to guess!
1. Sounds good! I can’t WAIT!!! My hubby will be in the kitchen making his famous chili! YUM!

2. Chili sounds delicious! And having your husband make it . . . even better!
The game didn’t end exactly the way we were hoping, but a fun time none the less.
