Sometimes, all it takes is a small, inexpensive change to make a HUGE difference. I have a collection of glass candle holders. Over the years I have picked them up at thrift stores, antique malls and flea markets. I love to group them together for a wonderful impact. Here are two of the candle holders. They are nice, but kind of plain.

But sometimes I want to set a table and have it a little more balanced and formal. For those occasions less is more. I love the look of just using two candles. The glass candle holders I have collected really don’t stand out on there own. My solution? A little GLAM for a LITTLE bit of bucks.

I purchased these two bobeches at a local home decor store. They only cost $3.00 each. Look at the difference they made! They sparkle and shine when the lights are low and the candles are lite. So when you are tired of the same old thing, and you are looking to make a change for very little money, look around your house. Find something simple and plain that you can easily update.

1. I have never heard of bobeches until now, but what a dramatic difference they make. I will have to see if I can find a pair… I have lots of glass candle sticks as well. Thanks for the beautiful tip, Penny:-)
