Believe it or not, Boston is finally beginning to bloom. Since it was such a gorgeous day this past Sunday I was keen to get out and wander around the city to steal a few ideas get some inspiration.
This darling row of bunnies hopping through the garden sure caught my eye amidst the fairies and other garden critters. How cute is that?

I also spotted two lovely front-door wreaths. One was made from yellow forsythia branches and the other is made from pussy willow branches. I love them both, don’t you? (you can click on the photos to enlarge).
However, since I live in a condo, and I don’t have decorating rights to a front garden or a front door of my own, I was more focused on window box and container plantings and there were plenty of beautiful spring arrangements to be found.

I love the use of the pussy willow stems to give some height in these window boxes and aren’t the little bunnies and eggs a fun touch for Easter?

When it comes to window boxes I’m always looking for something a little unique and that was certainly the first word that came to mind when I spotted these primroses growing in running shoes atop a row of window boxes (bottom right). Do you think it’s ever possible to be a little too unique??

Well, I hope these spring blooms have inspired you as they did me.
Has spring sprung where you live? How do you decorate your home and garden for spring?

2. Thanks for your comment Renee. Yes, Heather stopped blogging for HomeGoods several months ago — her circumstances changed so that she did not have the time she would need to continue blogging here. But I believe her personal blog is still running so you might check in with her there.
