HG Openhouse Blog

There is no one kind of HomeGoods shopper, and that’s why it’s wonderful to hear from everyone! The HG Openhouse Blog is a place for shoppers to talk to fellow shoppers about their passion for home and get tips on everything and anything from organizing to decorating to gifting and more.

When our children were little we used to make them individual Easter Baskets. We would always hide them, making the hunt part of the fun. When they were very small we hid them “in plain sight,” so as not to frustrate them.

This year we will celebrate Easter with only adults around our table.  Being someone who does not want to miss out on any opportunity to have some fun, I made this family basket. I will use it as a focal point in the kitchen, either on the table or the counter where I’ll serve the buffet. Wherever it sits it is filled with tasty treats and a couple of fun toys in case we run out of things to talk about . . . which truthfully is not likely.

May your family be blessed with a wonderful celebration this weekend!
