simple artHey there! I know I just talked to you last week about how to make some simple artwork for windows (read about it here), but I’m back today to show you how I quickly and cheaply added a personalized art project to a little girls room last week.  Seriously, this cost nothing!

As I was redesigning a little girls room from blah to punchy pink, I quickly created some personalized artwork using existing frames from the room.

I simply enhanced a couple existing photographs to sepia tone (to match the brown tones in the room) and printed them out.  Then, using a glue stick to attach them to acid free scrapbooking paper, I just plopped them into the existing frames!  Not only do they look nice, they can be updated easily as the child grows.

How have you used existing frames and/or photography in your home?
