Several weeks ago I shared with you some ideas for gift giving when visiting friends and family this Summer. This week while perusing some of my favorite magazines I found a couple of articles that gave some additional suggestions. There are so many wonderful ways to give a memorable gift that are both easy and inexpensive.

This photo is from the article in Ladies Home Journal, 5 Ideas for Gracious Hostess Gifts. I loved the unique ideas, the fresh presentation, and wallet consideration. The photos are beautiful, too!

Another place to look is on the Redbook site. This article entitled, Hostess Gift Ideas starts off . . . “She always makes you feel at home, now return the favor.”  The ideas shared are the kind of things you could stock up on and keep handy for that last minute trip where you definitely don’t want to arrive empty handed.

I also found a site that listed Unique Gift Ideas, which shared some ideas that I had never thought of before.  One that I liked was a suggestion to take a basket of crafting supplies for her favorite hobby.

Finally, a list of  Hostess Gift Ideas: Last minute no-fail gift items for your host .  This site is called, Last Minute Gift Ideas. If you can think of an event to which you need to take a gift, this site will provide suggestions.

Last time, some of you added your own great ideas. We would love to hear your thoughts again. Maybe it’s an item that was given to you, or something you gave to a friend or family member.
