All of those tips as the result of a ten question quiz that is super fun, quick, and easy!
I have known for a long time that I love a country look, but I was surprised that from my answers it said I had an “appreciation for tradition and history.” I do, but I still can’t figure out how my answers gave that away! I also like my home to be soothing and I want others to feel that as well. A place to feel safe, but with a fun energy to enjoy. I liked the color palette that was suggested, and will consider implementing them with accent pieces.

1. The results of the quiz said I am a Country Classic which is just what I thought. What was most interesting is that I jjust entertained 22 guests at a dinner party at my home, most of whom at not been here before. Several of the comments were the same and matched the quiz results! The best complement overall is that my house feels like a ‘home.’ I am always moving things around a little and frequently visit Home Goods to make sure I don’t miss the best deal.

2. This country classic is close enough. However, my style is Villa.
Villa is romance reinvented. A high-end “decorator” look. Refined without fuss. Serene yet strong. Pedigreed while also modern. Inspired by French and Scandinavian design. A mingling of carved woods handcrafted artisanship, and the dressmaker detail.

3. I agree Audrey, nothing compliments me more than when people tell me they find my home soothing and comfortable. It has also helped when we have gone to sell our homes, too. Our realtor usually tells me it’s because people can visualize themselves living there. I’m glad you enjoyed the quiz. It certainly seems to be accurate. Enjoy!!

4. Maryann, Your style sounds beautiful! I picture the French Riviera or Italian countryside. I think it helps to know our style when we head out to make purchases. I am less likely to add confusion to my look, and keep things simple – when I know where to direct my focus. We would love to see a photo or two if you get the time. Thanks for your comment.
