I came across this great photo on a set of greeting cards for knitters.  I absolutely love the clever use of this metal pitcher for storing knitting needles and I can imagine how the tray below would be a handy place for a tape measure or stitch markers.

But I especially love this picture because it shows how simple it is to take the “ordinary” stuff in our home and make it “extra-ordinary”.

There are a lot of functional ways to store knitting needles but this one has turned their storage into a work of art without losing any functionality.  Gets your wheels turning, doesn’t it?
