I am crazy for crystal! I love the look of elegance it adds to any room or situation. I use crystal decanters to hold everyday items in the bathroom. Crystal candle holders and lights shower a room with sparkles of refractive light. When entertaining I like to use a few crystal pieces for serving to take an evening from “normal” to special!
I keep a crystal candy dish in the living room filled with tasty treats for unexpected visitors, or simply to treat myself as I walk by. There’s always an excuse for chocolate!
The wine bar at our house is always ready for a reason to celebrate, and nothing says celebration like crystal goblets and decanters. Crystal is timeless! I have pieces passed down from my grandmother that still look fabulous.
There are so many wonderful uses for crystal and glassware. About a year ago I wrote a post called, A Plethora of Glassware, where I talked about some of my favorite ways to use glass around the house. If like me, you have an affinity for crystal . . . I understand that HG is having a sale on Waterford Crystal this weekend. What a perfect time to buy gifts and prepare for holiday entertaining.
