I know you are completely organized and ready for Halloween festivities, but I’m not! My husband celebrates his birthday on Halloween, so for many years we have opted to focus on that instead of ghosts and goblins. This year I have enjoyed many of the Halloween decorations; so I began thinking a little more about the possibilities of adding a little frightful fun to our weekend.
I began with my usual internet surfing to see if I could find some inexpensive tips and ideas. I would like to share my finds with you here:
1. Country Living - Halloween Decorating: If you are a regular reader you know this was my first stop. Their photos are beautiful, and some of the ideas are very easy and inexpensive. I especially liked the candles in mason jars with candy corn. So cute!! Thanks to Country Living for the above photo!
2. Good Housekeeping - Magical Halloween Decorating Ideas and Holloween Safety Tips and Trick or Treating Etiquette: Both pages are filled with great tips and suggestions. I am thankful for the tips that help to keep our kiddos safe!
3. DIY Network - Halloween Decorations: Talk about a plethora of suggestions! This page has 59+ suggestions of Halloween projects, recipes, costumes, etc.
4. HGTV - Halloween Ideas: As usual if you can’t find what you are looking for at DIY, head over to HGTV. I think these Witches’ Broomsticks are too cute!
5. Celebrations - Halloween Party Ideas: Planning any party can send my stress levels soaring, but Celebrations helps to make it easy. This page offers links to theme party ideas, recipes, crafts, and countless ways to make your party fun for both young and old.
