House Beautiful bathAs time marches quickly towards Halloween, I realize that Thanksgiving and all the December holidays are storming in right behind it.  In our house we also have a couple birthdays in there as well.

So my advice?  Take a moment and BREATHE while you can.  Find a quiet place in your home where you can relax, even for if its just a few minutes.

Then when you’re in your happy place, make a list of everything you need to do for each event, and post it on the fridge or in a folder.  Knowing you don’t have to keep it all in your head will help you to enjoy each of the many joyous moments in the months ahead.

1. I love that photo as well. It’s unexpected art work in a bathroom. It’s also a striking combination - sepia prints against a clean, minimalist environment. Inspiring.
