It’s November and that means the countdown to the holidays is on. It seems a little crazy to be talking turkey left-overs before the bird is even in the oven, but  this critical tip for organizing your left-overs would come days too late should I not share it in advance.

I’ll be honest that I don’t do the whole holiday meal thing myself. My sister is the hostess and cook for all the holiday occasions in our family and we all really appreciate it. (Did I mention we REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!?) She does the traditional turkey and all the fixin’s and so I share with you HER great organizational tip for handling left-overs: Ziploc Freezer bags.

Simply scoop the remaining contents of each bowl/plate into a large ziploc bags. These can then be stored vertically or horizontally in your fridge (or freezer) and collectively will probably take up less space than one casserole dish or pot.

Certainly one more space-saving product to be thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours!!

2. Hi Mary,

We understand that you have been trying to locate some shampoo. As an off-price retailer, we make every effort to keep our prices low, and our costs down, so that we can pass these savings on to our customers. For this reason, we do not provide a service of tracking merchandise. In addition, we do not have the privilege of ordering specific merchandise from our vendors. To locate the shampoo, we suggest that you continue to check with the stores in your area directly. We would be happy to provide you with store locations in your area. If you would like a store list, please e-mail us back, or call our Customer Service Department directly at 1-800-888-0776.

Sincerely,

HomeGoods Customer Service

3. This may be a silly question, but I’m going to ask it anyway….what qualifications do you need to become a professional organizer?
