Janice has an eclectic sense of style: she decorated her first beach house in a nautical look. And now, for a second home she's building, she'll be looking for Victorian pieces. Her style is a blend of every place she's ever visited, from Europe to the islands to, of course, the shore. She blogs from New Jersey, where she also enjoys building her own dollhouse furniture, as well as scrap booking.

It looks like we will have our home done for Christmas. These are the first finished pictures, landscaping will have to wait till spring or fall. Interior is being painted as I write. Don’t believe we will move anything in till after the holidays.

The shore house is going up. Pilings are going in tomorrow. Foundation will start next week. As this is a modular home they want to set the house the end of the month. It will move fast from that point on. Would like to be in by the wedding in [...]

I love decorating in and outside the home. Take a look. The wheelbarrow was used for Spring. also made a eye catching fall display. This gave me less to store and keeps the cost down. Happy decorating.
