It's small, cozy, and it's where we spend most of our time. But for the summer months, my favorite room is our roof-top deck—love having this extra living space surrounded by blue sky, potted plants, and sunshine. What’s your favorite part about planning a dinner party? I am happiest when the plan comes together. If your decorating style were a song, what genre would it be? Jazz—it’s smooth, easy listening and can be enjoyed and appreciated by most. Top 3 most important pieces of furniture. • A comfortable chair with ottoman—one needs a place to read, knit and relax. • A comfortable bed—a good night's rest is so important. • Storage pieces—bookshelves, armoires, buffets, credenzas. You are Dr. Design. What is your best quick fix for a home emergency? Nature's Miracle Pet Stain Remover—removes just about any stain or odor from carpeting and fabrics. Great stuff to have on hand. What piece or room do you update every season? Living room—I like to add something decorative and seasonal to our main living space. |

The studio apartment we’ve been renovating has a large double window which provides all the natural light to the space as well as a view of the neighborhood.
