Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How do we choose our bloggers?

A: We asked our most passionate customers whether they'd like to participate. From the many who responded, we narrowed down our choices based on interests, lifestyles, decorating style and geographic diversity. And also china patterns (just kidding)!

Q: Do we pay our bloggers?

A: No, we don't pay our bloggers - they're simply some of our most passionate customers, who love their homes, and their HomeGoods. Just like you.

Q: Will we recruit any new bloggers?

A: Yes! And you don't need to be a "professional" blogger to apply. In fact, our bloggers are our best customers - home enthusiasts like yourself who want to contribute ideas and inspiration to the HomeGoods community. Because it's a labor of love, you can blog at your own pace, whenever inspiration strikes. If you're interested in applying, please fill out the form below. You will be contacted shortly by the editors of the HG Openhouse blog.

Q: Can I purchase items seen on your blog or website?

A: At this time, HomeGoods does not offer a service of on-line shopping. However, we may in the future and suggest that you sign up for HomeGoods email to keep up with all the latest information regarding HomeGoods.

Q: Can I locate a specific piece of HomeGoods merchandise in a specific store?

A: As an off-price retailer, we make every effort to keep our costs down, so that we can pass these savings on to you. For this reason, and because every HomeGoods store is different, we do not provide a service to track merchandise. In addition, we don't have the privilege of ordering specific merchandise from our vendors. To locate an item, we suggest that you continue to check with the stores in your area directly.
