I was happy to find 2 Homegoods dark brown patent leather-like ottoman cubes to serve as additional seating and versatile \"coffee table\" in my second-bedroom-turned lounge room. I've seen similar ottomans (likely a bit larger) going for $178 on the upmarket designer Chiasso website. These were $39.99 each and the perfect scale for my clean-lined Ikea couch (found on craigslist for $90) and bargain TJMaxx pillows. The wrought-iron candle floorlamp was bought in Turkey, as was the unframed Orientalist-themed canvas print by Bridgman.

I thought a great place to store my chenille scatter rugs would be under our FR sap bench/coffee table, but I wasn't sure I'd be able to find something the right size for both the rugs and for under the table. With measurements in hand I headed to Home Goods and I now have baskets that look as though they're custom made for the job! The rugs fit perfectly, and the two baskets slide under the coffee table for a perfect storage solution!

Most of my lighting at home in Athens, Greece are from Home Goods stores in New Jersey. I carried them five thousand miles by airplane. The selection of lamps at the Paramus and Wayne stores is not to be believed. It is not just the great prices but I have never seen such a fantastic selection in any other good department or lighting store. The lighting departments at Home Goods is exceptional in my opinion. I have seven table and one floor lamp from Home Goods in my house in Athens, Greece. I use a simple plug adapter and 220 volt light bulb and \"I am in business\". Thanks Home Goods.

Who would think that I could buy a floor lamp and carry it in a suitcase to Athens, Greece? Well I did, I bought it at Homegoods Paramus, N.J.. It was under $20.00 and it is gorgeous. It was packed flat and in pieces, although that's not detectable and even the lampshade was flat and popped up. It's quite wonderful what one can find and carry five thousand miles to decorate their home abroad. And I have many other pieces from Homegoods in Greece.

Since making this cake I have returned to purchase another set of towels in peach to make for another Bridal Shower but this time I also purchased a pedestal cake plate which also serves as a chip and dip. My mom brought her cocoa brown but simple velvet sofas of over four decades to her new townhouse. To make them stand out more we bought beautiful goose down filled lush pillows with silk fabric for the loveseat and sofa. Coincidentally, the chenille embroidery on the bigger pillows matched the chenille embroidery on her curtains. We also bought a lovely wrought iron pedestal seen in the photo for a potted plant and placed it at a window. All came from Home Goods our favorite store. The personnel and management at our local Paramus store are great. The pillows were outstandingly well priced.

I found the copy of this ancient garden seat at Homegoods. Even though it was meant for gardens but the Chinese put them at the front doors of the temples for centuries. They are so delicate and breakable, I would rather keep mine in the dining room, next to my antique buffet.

I just love my daughter's keeping room - it is so cozy and inviting. The picture here is of her beautiful stone fireplace and mantle area. I found the mantle lamps at my Chattanooga Home Goods as well as the Topiaries on the coffee table. I try to combine things existing in a clients home with other good deals that I find. I'm a Southern Living at HOME Director and you will also find many items from my SLAH Catalog as well.

I found this great bedding collection in chocolate and antique/French blue Italian Frame at Home Goods (sorry; too new for picture). It is from a company called Metro Home Collection. I am in a desparate search to find the matching window panels, but have had no luck at TJ Maxx of Home Goods. Has anyone seen these panels, or even spotted them at a discount or full-priced retailer? The internet has not been helpful. Help! Thanks.

This is a piece of ceramics that I have found at your stores. I have been shopping at Homegoods for many years and always look for my favorite designer Pamela Gladding. I can find some of her beautiful Tuscany ceramics, but wish Homegoods would bring in more of her posters as well. Is it possible for your website to feature the artist and their work. I see Pamela Gladding's wall decor in Target, JC Penny, Sears and other stores. The only store that promotes the artist is JC Penny and that helps me as customer find my favorite designers. Maybe Homegoods could do a Artist promotion now and then?

Candy buffets are still very popular at weddings and other special events. The idea is to buy lots of different types of candies and placing them in beautiful glass dishes, compotes, and other types of containers. Add mini scoops or gravy spoons along with favor bags and let your guests create their own package of sweets to take home. I found lots of different types of glassware and apothecary jars at my local Home Goods store, but my recent favorite find was this 24 inch tall apothecary style glass container that served as the centerpiece for our buffet at a recent bridal event. All the kids have grown up and gone and it was time to downsize and make \"kitchen\" tasks easy and equipment readily available. We didn't want to go into the expense of cabinet and counter renovation at this point in our lives so we simply removed the standard cabinets and painted the walls. We constructed the shelves because It was important for me to keep it aesthetically satisfying yet easier to clean and reach daily items. Each item,ss from the dinner plates, bowls and coffee cups as well as the red cranberry jelly jars, coffee cannister and butter dish on the shelf above the \"coffee workstation\" unit were purchased at Home Goods in Somers. The large dishes on the bottom shelf add color and used only occasionall. I call it my kitchen at a glance. It's amazing how beautifully satisfying, easily maintaianed, and within easy reach we can make our surroundings with just the right touches, I think the redecorating cost less than $500.00 with the wonderful finds at Home Goods.

I just love this Martha Stewart Kitchen Cupboard that I found at HomeGoods! It has that vintage-cottage look that dresses up my kitchen perfectly. I filled it with my vintage American china and pottery. I added eyelet lace trim to the shelves. One of my favorite things about HomeGoods is that my husband LOVES to go with me! He's purchased 2 expresso makers at HomeGoods and a beautiful windchime for our patio. His generous side always comes out at HomeGoods!

This home owner wanted us to paint her sitting room. We used her Homegoods pillows as our inspiration and turned her white sitting room into a tuscany retreat. You can do the the same thing using soft earth tone pillows. Bring your pillows to the paint store and they will help with color suggestions. Kate & Nancy/ Periwinkle Painters

I transported all these HG items up to Virginia to decorate a home there. I love the black round table in the foreground, the ottoman, throws, pillow, lamps, plants the picture over the couch and the end table all fit in my SUV. What a joy to see the end result! What would I do without MY Home Goods and Southern Living at HOME for decorating!

I LOVE Home Goods - I find most of my decorating items there. This is my daughter's room. The inspiration piece for the room was the Quilt -the Headboard. Desk and Lamp, pics over the bed, rug, throw, pillows, topiary and just a FEW of the items I found for the room. I am also a Southern Living at HOME Star Director and I added some SLAH flair as well.

I found this \"Ocean\" sign at HG for only $5.99. It was the perfect addition to my antique window above my headboard of our master bedroom. I do plan on embellishing the window and I am considering using sand dollars. If anyone has any other ideas, please share them, I would really appreciate it!

This is my front entry table. I absolutely love it! The vase filled with shells and sand are from HG, as well as the BEACH sign that I attached to the back of the table. On the top of the table is a lamp and mirror that are also from HG. I really don't find the need to shop too many other stores. I almost always find what I need at HG. I work hard at making sure my entry is always inviting.

These three pictures compliment a larger one that I have above my mantel. I posted the larger picture earlier. I found these pictures in a different HG than the one that I found the larger Palm Tree picture above my mantel. HOW LUCKY! It was also completely different months of the year as well. Just keep looking, you never know what you will find.

This picture is of a Gym Interior Redesign. As you can see from the before it need much help. I had alot of ideas on what to do with the space and knew I only had to make one trip to Home Goods to find all the pieces to put it together. I purchased the two leather chairs, the ottomas, the pillows and the silk trees, candle holder and candles. A beautiful and relaxing transformation. I am the key owner and designer of Redesigned-Spaces and wouldn't shop anywhere else. As you can see it's like one stop shopping if you are in the decorating/staging business.
